 The long awaited info drop. 

Prompts may be any pairing, but at least half of the pairing MUST be unusual(Ex: Vampire/Human, Hybrid/Human, Wolf/Human etc). There are SO many possibilities! Hybrids of any variety (cats, wolves, unicorns, gerbils – any animal you can dream of!), aliens, vampires, shape shifters, tentacle monsters, fairies, wood nymphs, trolls, angels, demons, elementals... Your prompts are only limited by your imagination. Send as many as you can dream up!! Ratings from G to NC-17 are welcome!

Prompts will be screened and anonymous, so send us your wildest ideas and we promise we won't tell!

Anyone can leave or claim a prompt. You do not have to write a fic if you send a prompt, and you do not have to submit a prompt to claim a fic!

Authors should have an LJ, AO3, or Dreamwidth account to link to once reveals are made so we can send your fans to read your other works!  You also need a valid e-mail address so that we can contact you regarding fest matters. 


Now there are not many rules, since I'm sure many of you have been involved in fests prior to this, but just in case I'm going to go back over the rules for this one. 

Each fic must center around one member of Exo as some type of inhuman species, while the other person is entirely human. We will even accept fics where neither person is human, as long as they are different species(Ex: Wolf hybrid meets a woodland faerie)

Each completed fic must be 1,000 words, if you want to write more than that then please feel free! We definitely encourage you to write more if you’re feeling it, but no pressure!

You may only claim ONE prompt at a time, but if you finish that fic and turn it in using the proper format and still wish to choose another prompt, then that is also very acceptable.

Please pay attention to due dates, last round there were many of you who signed up but then proceeded to ignore each and every email. I do not want to have to spend valuable time chasing down writers who have no intention of submitting.

If you ask for an extension, again, pay attention to due dates. Last round I had five ask for extensions but never submit on time or respond to emails. I know things come up to prevent someone from submitting, but if you need to drop out then please let us know instead of ignoring emails. Mind you, I will be glad to give you an extension, so please don’t be afraid to ask.

Sadly, after such a stressful first round with many ignored emails and no submissions, I have come to the conclusion that this round if anyone signs up and then does not respond to emails that have been sent out or ignore submission deadlines without asking for an extension or speaking to me or Mod Growl, then you will be blacklisted and be unable to participate in further rounds. I do not want to be that kind of Mod, but it seems that I must be.

If you need to drop out, for any reason, as long as you do it 2 weeks before the due date(or as soon as you know you need to) then there will be no consequences. However, if you wait until the day OF submissions and make me chase you down and contact you through email/lj/twitter then proceed to tell me you are dropping out, you WILL be blacklisted immediately. Again, I know real life happens and causes you to be busier than normal, but please remember that this is just as stressful on us as it is on you writers!

Your fic is to remain anonymous until after reveals, so please do your best to keep it a secret, you don’t want to give away what amazing thing you’re creating before it’s completely done right? So keep quiet, like a little mouse.

If you need a beta reader and cannot find one, we will be glad to help you out with that as well. All you need to do is let us know that you are in need of one! The sooner you tell us, the faster we can track someone down for you.

With all that said, please don’t be afraid to sign up and write to your hearts content. We’ll be waiting for you!

Fics will be turned away if they include ANY of the above. No exceptions.

Now I know this seems like a lot, but I'm just trying to cover all the bases before anything gets up and started, with that said, please do not be afraid to sign up when the post opens up in a few weeks! I will be posting the time table very soon.
